What is the Best Way for Kids to Learn Spanish? FabuLingua!

We took a long hard look at what modern language-learning science has found about the best (and worst!) ways to acquire a second language.

We combined it with what we know kids love, and we created a ground-breaking, new way for kids around the world to learn a new language!

Oh, and it was so unique that we were awarded a patent for our method of teaching new languages!

The new way – a platform of Comprehensible Input for Kids:

The Old Ways Children learn Spanish:

There are plenty of teaching techniques that have dominated foreign language learning in classrooms forever – from lecturing, to worksheets, drilling, dictation, rote memorization of vocabulary lists and conjugations, and the perennial use of flashcards. These techniques may come across as ‘serious’ but they have been shown to be ineffective. To the extent that they work at all, it is only because they are (rather poor!) sources of comprehensible input.

The science of language learning has been around for about 30 years… and because of it, we actually DO know what works in second language acquisition! Surely it’s time to apply the insights from this science to products on the market??

How Does Spanish Learning Work with FabuLingua?

The Science of Language Learning: Comprehensible Stories through

Magical Translations®

Magical Translations is the first step in FabuLingua’s patented learning method. Your child sees only the Spanish text, but hears the narrator’s rhythmic alternation between Spanish and its English translation. This allows them to easily understand and follow the story in a relaxed and engaged state - which is the best way for kids to learn Spanish.

Does your child already understand Spanish? No worries, the Magical Translations can easily be switched off for your child in the Settings!

Tell me a fact, and I'll learn.

Tell me a truth, and I'll believe.

But tell me a story, and it will live in my heart forever.
