Meet Andressa Meissner - the illustrator behind FabuLingua’s latest story ‘Cuentos reales de la jungla’ (‘Real Jungle Tales’). She brings to life the extraordinary imagination of a girl called Zara around Halloween 🎃 and will take your children on an exciting (and slightly scary!) adventure...
@andressameissner is a Brazilian illustrator with a bold, colorful and attention-grabbing style, which also feels light and natural with hints of tropical flavor.
Based in the city of Curitiba, is inspired by Brazilian folk culture, the Tropicalist movement and the vivacious expressions of Brazil’s annual Carnival, giving flamboyant flourishes to her images.
Andressa studied graphic design at the Federal Technological University of Paraná in Brazil and Creative Illustration at the University School of Art and Design in Barcelona.
A little known fact about this talented illustrator: Andressa’s parents run a 🍫 chocolate factory so she grew up surrounded by cakes 🍰, cookies 🍪 and gingerbread houses. No wonder she devoted herself to illustrating children’s stories!
