Carolina Savard

Meet Carolina Savard, the author and illustrator behind our newest story ‘Coqui tiene miedo’. She created the story for her youngest sister during a phase in which she refused to sleep in her room on her own.

Carolina is from Chile, and lives in Santiago. She’s been creating stories since she can remember, and started in animation in 2000, working on various pilots, animated series and commercials. In 2004 she became an illustrator for school books and children’s books and in 2014 she embarked on her first young adult novel ‘Kath y los fantasmas de la mansión Hesbaye’ soon followed by ‘El secreto de San Lorenzo’. She then turned to children’s novel ‘Las hadas del tiempo’.
